Palladium premieres their latest exploration, ‘Hidden Gems of L.A.’ with actress Odette Annable, featuring their new Summer Boot.
Just in time for the Spring/Summer season, heritage boot brand Palladium teamed up with actress Odette Annable (Cloverfield, Breaking In) for their latest urban exploration, entitled “Hidden Gems of L.A.” Continuing their quest to explore hidden places in cities around the world, Odette Annable takes Palladium on a tour of some out of the way places in her hometown. Having grown up in Los Angeles and now enjoying a successful career in Hollywood, Odette joined the Palladium team to explore mysterious towers in South Central LA, an artist’s community in the shadow of the 5 freeway, the rooftop of a legendary downtown hotel and a Frank Lloyd Wright property left unfinished in the hills of Malibu. For the exploration, Odette wore Palladium’s new LITE boots, the perfect boot for summer. Extremely light and breathable, the new Palladium LITE boot weighs less than 8oz in the signature Baggy version, while still being rugged enough for exploring. The uppers are made with a lightweight fabric and feature moisture wicking linings for hot summer days. The short film can be viewed at www.palladiumboots.com.
Featured landmarks include: The Watts Towers, The Brewery Arts Complex, The LA River, The Rosslyn Hotel and the Wright House in Malibu.
About Palladium: Palladium was founded in 1920 to make aircraft tires for the aviation industry. In 1947, after the end of WWII saw demand for tires dry up, Palladium put their canvas and rubber expertise to use by making boots that were as hard wearing as their tires. Palladium soon became outfitters of the legendary French Foreign Legion with their classic canvas Pampa boot. Over 60 years later the timeless design of Palladium’s signature Pampa boot is as relevant as ever and available once again for explorers worldwide.
